About Us

Sauna is the Finnish practice of dry or steam bathing to promote health and refresh your body. Sauna has been practiced in cultures globally for hundreds of years. Studies have reported the many benefits of extreme temperatures which lead to improved health. Personally, we notice our skin feels great, we sleep better, and it’s hard not to smile after a sauna session, especially at night when you can step out of the hot room and directly into a blanket of bright stars.

Located in the heart of Midcoast Maine, mere minutes from Rockland, we aim to create an avenue for health, restoration, and social remedy at an affordable price. We are intentional about our low rates as we feel the practice of sauna should be as available as possible to all in our area.

Nestled in our secluded 24 acres you will be able to experience stillness and calm. With 900 feet of shoreline to gaze at or dip in, a hand pump well with potable water, and an elevated outhouse onsite, you’ll have everything you need to enjoy your time. We heat our hot room between 150-170*F for your session. We highly recommend looking at the Penobscot Bay Tide Chart if you’d like to ocean dip at higher tides.
